Jim,

Without a doubt, you will get the forecasted snow. I'm in upstate NY and it's 11:15am on Friday and its snowing at about 2 inches an hour with the forecast of 10 to 18 inches.

Many reported accidents on the roads already and travel will only get worse. My suggestion is to leave early, before it snows, and enjoy your stay in Rockport. We'll chat with you when you get back next week.

Some people have all the luck, DJing and vacationing all at the sametime. LOL!

Drive safe and good luck!

Bar was closed...I drove around and found CANDLEPIN BOWLING

WOW! Talk about stupid activities to do

Played two strings shot 66 and 72

Stopped at Denny's (all that was open)

Thus morning...very windy and snowy, but only about 4" so far...snow amounts expected scaked back to 5-10" on TV

Well I guess my wedding was easy..The weather here in Florida was cold but at least I could travel and set up in shorts and t-shirt...It was only 15 minutes from home and i was back home with my feet up at 9-30 pm (I need more like this)..
Hope yours all went well Jim

New Year's Eve weather wasn't much better, Jim. Pulling a DJ trailer without a 4-wheel drive vehicle is not COOL!...the show must go on, however. The gig went very well! Dance floor loaded all night. Anyway, the trip home was living H...! The parking lot was a sheet of ICE!
The roads at 3:00 AM were the same. Main roads were "D" (deadly). Good thing very few cars on the road at that time of the morning...12 miles from home, but took over 30 minutes. Got home and found my incline driveway was also a sheet of ice...no way a vehicle with or without studded tires would make it up. Ended up parking it in my neighbors driveway (level ground). Had to walk in the snow to get to the house. Fell twice trying to walk up the iced driveway. I guess I'd rather be out in the ice than in a blizzard, Jim! LOL. Hope your gig went OK.

Hooray for Florida!

Still spinning after all these years.

Ok...my update!

Saturday was one of the most boring days I have ever had. Nothing to do in Rockland/Camden when its sunny (except shop) and everything is closed.

I load in wih 50 mph winds blowing snow directly to my face...fun fun fun

The Samoset's Cable was down and the poll was closed due to a child's "accident". No Hot Tub either!

So I wait and wait until about 4:00pm, change and go to the reception area.

I was originally supposed to start at 6:00pm with the h'ors d'ouevres in a separate room from 5:15-6:00pm

They are late...very late.

5:45 pm the first guests arrive. Apparently a drunk woman had snuck up to the sanctuary during their prayers and started hollering and screaming nonsense. She was a homeless woman who happened to be at the church for a regualr homeless get together.

WOW! Can't wait to see that tape!

Everything else was fine except for the illogic of the way things were set up by the bride.

22 people at the head table and 40 other guests in this rather large room (80 x 80)

It looked strange but everything went fine.

Even played a request for the new Paul Simon song from the Wild Thornberry's Movie

Weird

Weird!
