Respectfully,

The American Audio Amps are VERY Road worthy. They are just plain worthy. I remember when QSC started out & everyone said the same things about them. Listen to those that have actually TESTED them, that have spent years in the business from the Tech side of the game. These amps are here to stay.

These new amps are worthy of a serious look. It will OUTPERFORM several Top amps & save you money.

If I was buying a new amp, I would seriously consider them.

The American DJ line of audio is new, that is why I asked. I have been using the V1000 for around 3 years now and never any trouble. At only 125W (or so) per channel at 8 ohms it does a nice job but I do notice that if I try to pull more bass I tend to peak (not clip) the amp. It seems that I have to run it hard to get the heavy base. Still very clean sound, no hiss or hum.

To be honest, I was doing a school dance and of course the kids wanted it turned up.
Moor Power! Moore Power! I did turn it up to a slight clip and then down a touch so no clip and to my surprise the kids moved away from us to center court! We were under a backstop, a bit loud for a gym but very clean.

The place were I get my gear from sells the
Crown XLS-602 for about the same price but I would have to order the ADJ amp from a catalog.
ADJ - smaller & moore power
Crown - better warranty

Thank you for your impout.

Just wanted you all to know that I broke down and picked up a Crown CE-2000. I must say I am impressed! At $575.00 tax included, was a bit more than I was looking to spend but what a difference!

Ah heck,

Now you guys are making me feel bad. I bought a Yamaha P3200 last year. I use the Yamaha SV 15's (I think that's the name of these speakers).

No problems thus far but I am honestly thinking about changing my sound set up after reading your posts here.

Anyone know anything about the Yamaha amps?

We just picked up the Crown XLS 602 series (the power amp [bigger of the two] not to be confused with the other 602) It delivers about 375 @ 8 ohms a side

Before buying an amp or speakers make sure you learn all you can about how the company came up with the specs.

Randy great choice!

I've had great luck with ADJ lighting.
As for their sound stuff... I've had a few horror stories.

As for QSC they never mangled there specs like some lesser brands do today.
