Default Denon CD Players

What does everyone think of the Denon cd players? We just picked one up and it sounds great. We have the Denon DN 2000F MK 2. Anyone ever use this one? Tell us what you think of Denon.

The DN2000 II's are a fairly old player (as cd palyers go).
I have the 1800F in my Ceremony rig and the new DN4000 cd/mp-3 player as backup in my main rig. (I'm a PC jock)
Both have worked without problems from day one. (although I haven't used the 4000 much)

yes, the DN2000F is pretty ancient as technology goes. However I had one back in 1996 and it worked great.

I just got a Denon 2600F--and I love it!

It was a "B-Stock" (Re-manufactured unit with brand new controller, cables, and interconnects. Drive Units were original case with new innards, repainted to look new again)--- $629.99 at www.pssl.com ($699 with 10% catalog discount).

We loved our mk2 when we had it.
Denon, though, has come a long way since then.
The 2100, 2600, 4000, 9000 and the upcoming 6000!
Not to mention the tabletop 1000, 3000, and 5000s.

my DN-D4000 has occasional "re-cue" problems where it will go back into cue mode after hiting play.

I haven't really experienced the problem recently though because i have been pressing (and holding) the play button for a little longer since this problem first came up.

Asked Silvo several times about this issue.....no answer

Dan,

I have not encountered this problem before.
Did you try updating the software? That should include any fixes.
I will mention this problem to them.
