Default Save your speaker cabinets.

A month ago I went to a spray-in bedliner place and had my subwoofer cabinets sprayed.

This is the stuff we southern rednecks spray in our pick-up beds to keep the trailer axles and beer kegs from scratchin' the truck bed.

The cabs are waterproof, nonslip and have a ding proof black satin finish.
$70.00 to spray two 28"x28"x28"(JBL SR4718) cabs!

They look brand new and will stay that way since the polyurethane is about 1/8" thick.

This is a great alternative for keeping the uglest part of your rig looking it's best!

I've thought about this and you can even get them sprayed in a custom color. What brand did you go with? I thought about doing it myself with Herculiner.

Would that work with the JBL Eon 1500s? Mine are in great shape other than the common dings and scratches

I had the local RinoLiner dude do it.

True you can get any color. I wanted a light charcoal but my top speakers are the series 1 JBL SR's with the carpet covering.

Sorry Jim it sticks to everything except plastic/composite material. Which also rules out Anvil type ATA racks.

I never thought of that!

I was thinking about taking two pair of cabs to Colorado Sound & Light for carpeting, but now I have a new idea!

Thanks for the tip!

Now I can throw away those big, fat tipped black permanant markers forever!

By the way . . .

Got any pictures?

I would like to see how they look . . .

I need to get my truck bed lined . . . I wonder if I might get a deal on the whole bunch!

Sounds great. I just use custom made covers and Jim that may be your only choice.
