Default Gemini MP-3000X

Is this really all the hype says it is?

I'm in the market for a new Dual CD Player soon and would like something MP3 capable if possible.

Any of our mods have this in stock or have tried it yet?

Been wondering about that one myself. Think I would wait on another brand coming out with same personally though...

I have been looking around for the same thing. But when they do come out they will prolly be through the roof money wise! Can't figure out why they havn't yet if every home stereo system you see these days have mp3 capabilities.

Numark says the firmware upgrade for the CDN 90 will be on the web site in a couple of weeks I'll let you know how well it works.

Jim, here in L.A. most of us are still doing it the old fashion way, but I see your point. eek!
Mp3 is the future.
We have only one of these on the display rack and I must admit, its as plain jane looking as Gwenyth Paltrow would look if she was seen at a laundry mat.
If the unit didnt have the lit Cue and Go buttons, youd think the thing was made in 1994. But the unit plays MP3 and thats the most important fact.
Although I have never seen the Numark version personally, it has a keypad---something that will really come in handy if youre looking for track 255 or something like that for quick access.
But Gemini makes good stuff and this unit w/ its brushed aluminum
face looks like it means business. I like brushed aluminum better than black faced
anyways because I cant see that good in the dark anymore( so youre 33 now, eh? you get my age and see things start falling apart faster than a '76 Vista Cruiser)

Great point Fatcat! They all will prob. play great. The key feature will be which model will search and cue the quickest/easiest.
