Well the ol' Denon-2000MKIII has finaly died.
Right in the middle of the Christmas gig season.
I'm not gonna fix it again!

I just ordered a Numark CDN-90.
My first dual cd player was a Numark CD6040 got it in 1988. last I heard the fellow I sold it to is still giging it.

Whats the word anyone own a CDN-90 watdayathink of it?

I think you will find it much more dependable but not sure about comparing features. Depending on features you are looking for there may be better choices, definately lower prices.. GOOD LUCK..

I've been around a long time. When it comes to DJ gear I realy belive you get what you pay for.
I'll bet 75% of all the DJ gear marketed and sold is never used at a paying gig.

When your livelyhood depends on it you better have the best talent and best tools. wink

I only wished you got what you paid for, LOL.. I have never thought you got that (or even close) with Denon for one..

I purchased an AMDJ DCD-Pro250 last spring and have been very pleased with it.

Granted, I'm not on the road five times a week with it, but it seems to be a very exceptional unit!

I am thinking about purchasing an AMDJ mixer board so that I can take advantage of the 'Fader Q start' feature!

Anyone have any comments on those?

American Audio has made great strides in both features and reliability to their product line.

One can now purchase Professional grade tools without the Professional price normally associated with them.

Just so you know, I have owned the Numark CDN 34 and it was a rock solid unit!

I just love the CDN Numark series and think that you will be happy with your new 90. It's a good unit. Dependable.

Sorry guys got a little wild around here. I'm back.
The Denon 2000MKIII has been to Denon 4 times in 3 years. The 2600 twice in 2 years. Denon did pay shipping both ways. nice.

MusicDoctor I bought a Q-span Last Chistmas it lasted 2 gigs. I had to break out a spare and wire it during the awards presentations at a gig.
There are alot of mixers with fader start now. It's just a switch closure nothing fancy.

I love AMDJ Lighting but I have had nothing but junk form AMDJ Sound and Gemini.
I had a used, 1 gig Gemini CD-9500 for sale on e-bay. Got $58 Had it a year.
Just sold a Numark DM-1975 Mixer 11 years old $250.
Just sold 2 SL1200 turntables got $600. Paid $260 each for them 19 years ago.

Don't buy Junk! it will bight ya in the bottom sooner or later.
