Has anyone used the DAC 2 system with PCDJ FX VRM (+ KJ) ? We are thinking about switching to this in the spring!

I don't know how people don't really know about it. PCDJ advertises it all the time . It hooks right into your computer through your USB port and you use it just liek a regular cd player with all of the same controls. It looks just like a reg. cd player. You just hit the load button and the next track just loads right in. Its quite awesome, I've seen it in action and it really is a nice feature. We're working on building our system up righ tnow and making two rackmount computer systems with the whole flat panel display sha-bangy bang. It'll be pretty sweet when all said and done but well worth it.

I've used it and it's great. I've been using it for over a year now and don't know what I would do without it. I can load search and load songs in record time. Mix tracks just as good as the club dj's (i've done some club djing actually), and even record my own mixes. All this can be done without the controller but why would you want to? As the saying goes "Spin MP3 like Vinyl"!
