What are the best Crossovers, feedback destroyers, signal processors around (who makes them, behirnger, peavey, jbl, etc.). I have a behringer super x pro cx 2310. Its ok, has a little noise it but for 60 bucks I couldn't pass it up! Let me know what you think is the top of the line....

How about something affordable. Rane is awesome, but prices are too high to justify that purchase right now.

I have a super x Pro on my kids system and it is very quiet. It replaced a noisy Rane AC23.
I use a DBX Driverack PA$399
But if the new Berhinger Ultra-Drive $299 was out last year i would have bought it along with their new DSP EQ $249.
As far as feedback destroyer nothing beats the Berhinger Sharc $69.00
It goes in line between my wireless and the mixer that way it doesn't filter out the whole mix (i.e. music or DJmic). It just the kills feedback on the wireless alone. Plus I set the DSP low cut filter just above my crossover point so I don't get any P-POP's through the subwoofers.
Last tip the Sharc has a basic easy to setup compressor in it. the bestman can make a quiet toast or the bridesmaids can scream to Girls Just want to have Fun! and the guests hear both without straining or getting blown out of the room.
I tell everyone I wouldn't ever use a wireless/moving mic. without a Sharc.

A.R.T. makes a very good crossover and it won't break your budget. They are economically priced but they are quiet and work flawlessly. A.R.T. also makes a pretty good EQ.

Thanks for everyones opinions. Still open to more. I have a Behringer super x pro cx2310 and am having trouble with it, the subwoofer keeps cutting out so I have to either get a new one or send it in. Thanks for the help.

Cheers, Andrew.
I humbly suggest avoiding components that do not offer balanced line connections (XLR or 1/4" TRS). Reason I say this, unbalanced components can induce unwanted noise to your system. Remember, you never get more than you pay for.
We are using the following processing components:
DBX 262 compressor/limiter. This unit is priced right and is easy to use. It's also professional quality.
Carvin EQ2015 EQ.
Carvin XC3000 crossover.
All of these components are pro-quality and should serve your needs well.
I hope it helps.

Wolfie is quite right. Balanced through out. It's a small but significant step towards a pro system.
Expect to spend more than you anticipated, the proper gear will last you a lifetime.

does anyone here have suggestions on how to introduce a CD EQ for a multi-amped system?
By the above I mean I have Two Very large Peavey Cabs.. Each cab has dual 15" subs and a 22xt CD compression horn.
I want to drive the subs from seperate amps and drive the 22xt with my Peavey DPC-1000 amp.
I have a crossover in my 19" rack, though I am 99% certai it does not have a flat or CD EQ switch. So... How would one add this into the chain, are there devices built for this or would it be far easier to replace the crossover with one fitted with CD EQ?
any ideas would be great.. up to this day I have always ran straight stereo from single amps or ran dual amps in mono. Now I want to use 3 amps, one per side for the subs and one for both tops.

Headline,
All a CD EQ switch does is jack up the highs about 3db at 6khz, 6db at 10khz.
All of which can be done with your graphic EQ.
The 15's in you cabinets are not subs. Subs handle about 150hz and down. your speakers crossover at 1.2khz so the 15's are handling 1.2khz down to about 50hz. Your towers are "full range" cab's.
Most of the grunt happens at 80hz and below.
You won't be happy Bi-amping this way. The 22xt will only handle 60watts for starters. I am assuming your need for a CD EQ is because you already are lacking highs so why add more bass power?
If want in your chest grunt bass just add to your setup. A pair of 8ohm 18's and about a 1000watt/4ohm amp
