Hey, I have another deal coming my way for a pair of sun system speakers. They are about 3.5 feet tall and sound great. Anyone heard of them. The guy had them apraised, however i am not sure if he is telling the truth and he said that they are valued at $1500.00 for the pair.

Have not heard of them. Suspect if they are really worth that price then someone has heard of them.

Sorry for not responding sooner. I was away for the weekend in Vermont. (Brrrr 15-20 below 0 all weekend)...Anyways, I am not sure if we are going to go for them or not. We will probably decide on them in the spring (april/may) when we have more $$$$$$. Other than that i was just wondering if anyone has heard of them.

You can buy a pair of top shelf speakers for that kinda bread. BOSE, JBL ,and EAW for $1500/pr. and everyone has heard of them.

SUNN makes small PA stuff for budget minded bar bands. I'm sure it's good stuff but I'm looking at a Musician's Exchange catalog and the best new SUNN full PA package (200w mixer/2 speakers) sells for $495

Dude sounds like a ripoff to me!

I wouldnt be spending that much. I would only be spending around 300. They can definately handle more than 200w a piece. They are about 3.5 feet tall. Is there a website fro musician's exchange?

The only thing I really know is that Fender owns the brand name Sunn. I have seen some Sunn bass stacks but they were used on stage and wasn't able to hear them. From what I can tell from the research I've done, they're a low to midgrade product. Kind of like the Squire line of speakers from Fender.

Thankyou for your input. So far, We haven't done anything for the deal with them...YET. I am going to be talking with the gentlemen soon about them since I am still interested in them. hopefully he still has them. I am going to do some more research etc. Hopefully I can get them pretty cheap [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]
