I want a solid case that is light and yet will provide the flexibility and the storage to contain my system which will include a desktop computer (3 units I assume)

Don't you mean a rack-mount computer? How would a case hold a desktop?

Why use a desktop? How do you case it, with a rack shelf adaptor? Why not use a rackmount computer?
