I have never been able to rip with pcdj. I don't know why. I downloaded that Brittish ASPI thing and I still can't figure out why. I have a Creative Audigy for a sound card on one machine and a Creative Live 5.1 platinum on the other. I just can never get it to ripp. I ripp with Cakewalk's Pyro 1.5
