Hello Guys Here is a little more tech stuff about ReFlex

The NAMM show opens Thursday the 15th, I have individuals already their setting up interviews and working on stories and it’s looking like a great show for CPS DJ’s… I will now sit back and watch as Peavey highlights the new products.

First off ReFlex will operate on both Win XP and OSX(Mac) operating systems. (yes both)

All algorithms are 100% tempo correct, all handles fractions of samples

Pitch +-900%, “yes” 900%
pitchshift +-100%

Filters:
Range -+36db, 1 to 6th order selectable Types:LP,HP,BP,Notch,HShelf,LShelf,EQ,ParamEq
Scratch (weight compensated to get true analog sound), external input supported
Wave viewer with scrolling cue notes
CueCache (50 instant access nameable cues and loops , “no” delays)
Midi support , connect any midi controller
Native support for dmc1,dac2 and the new peavey controller
Scalable gui design (its very cool, and I am not talking resizing windows)
Direct record your mix, “not” resampling, its directly from the ReFlex 56bit core sound engine to the disk
Assembler optimized for maximum speed.
Supports both static and dynamic query based playlists
Easy direct view search (like winamp)
Even More

----This is a test done last September and I'll share it with you here and you can download the actual
MP3 files----

1.Testmix.mp3
Here I mix 2 players, one I loop and the other just plays, auto beat sync is turned on, which guaranties that they never will go out of sync. The 2 players are locked to a master clock section , that I also change while playing just so you can hear how both adjusts to the new tempo. This algorithm is NOT just another beat filter app, it locks to the tempo even when there is no drums.

2.Reflextest2.mp3
Playing one player only. I use sync and 1 beat quantization and cached cues, skips and loops to rearrange a track live. It is all done real time, no prepared loops or cues, I punch them in as I go. The point here is to show that no matter how off you are controlling the engine, it will, when quantization is on, fix your mistakes, but not limit you creativity. This is really fun to demo, people can’t believe what you’re doing. Listen at 2 min into the track you will really hear some rearranging, and at 4 min a fun reloop trick, remember its all live.

3.reflextimestretch.mp3
Here is just a test of our timestrecth, just messing with it to show what it can do. (PLEASE NOTE: 3 minutes into this time stretch its actually “standing still” playing a “zero” tempo when coming back from reverse. Time stretch can do +-400%)

Great Job GizomLabs Keep the tools coming.

Dayum!
That is what we call PISSA!

A new day has come, a whole new level, I'll take 2 one for me and one for my buddy on Pro DJ who thinks it's just another mp3 player.

That is shock and awe at it's best.
HURRY UP! I want to learn this program.

What is in store for MB next month?

Jeff.. Welcome and please remember even thou I'm in promotion mode for the new tools you are VERY welcome to post and speak of the tools you use here in this new domain world for CPS DJ's...

Rick.. That is ReFlex not the tools released at NAMM... NAMM was dedicated to the release of the new Peavey/PVDJ tools...

I don't know what Peavey/PVDJ has planned but I'm sure we will see the official marketing blitz from them starting after the show...

The development team completed those products with time to spare and are now into development of ReFlex... Remember we are talking about three tools... Two of which are PVDJ tools and as of tomorrow will be open to full public review...

Jam,
Thanks for the welcome.
I must say I don't know what happened to my old profile here, but I had to re register.

My intent is not to communicate Ots, but to investigate this new Hardware\software. As I said before, very impressive from the sounds of it. Now I just need to see the actual hardware in action with a little hands on.

The last demo is quite clear (at least to me now) about ots...."you'd better run you'd better take cover" lol

Jamm, looking forward to start talking about it "openly" to "the gang" We had our local association meeting last night and Marc Lanning and myself were getting bambarded with "tell us all about it" all night. We said they'd have to wait until after Thursday and to sit tight. All will be revealed. (and we can talk about it to our hearts content.)

ps Diana and I will see you in Vegas.
