Hello Guys Here is a little more tech stuff about
<span style="color:red">ReFlex</span>
The NAMM show opens Thursday the 15th, I have individuals already their setting up interviews and working on stories and it’s looking like a great show for CPS DJ’s… I will now sit back and watch as Peavey highlights the new products.
First off ReFlex will operate on both Win XP and OSX(Mac) operating systems. (yes both)
All algorithms are 100% tempo correct, all handles fractions of samples
Pitch +-900%, “yes” 900%
pitchshift +-100%
Filters:
Range -+36db, 1 to 6th order selectable Types:LP,HP,BP,Notch,HShelf,LShelf,EQ,ParamEq
Scratch (weight compensated to get true analog sound), external input supported
Wave viewer with scrolling cue notes
CueCache (50 instant access nameable cues and loops , “no” delays)
Midi support , connect any midi controller
Native support for dmc1,dac2 and the new peavey controller
Scalable gui design (its very cool, and I am not talking resizing windows)

1.Testmix.mp3
Here I mix 2 players, one I loop and the other just plays, auto beat sync is turned on, which guaranties that they never will go out of sync. The 2 players are locked to a master clock section , that I also change while playing just so you can hear how both adjusts to the new tempo. This algorithm is NOT just another beat filter app, it locks to the tempo even when there is no drums.

2.Reflextest2.mp3
Playing one player only. I use sync and 1 beat quantization and cached cues, skips and loops to rearrange a track live. It is all done real time, no prepared loops or cues, I punch them in as I go. The point here is to show that no matter how off you are controlling the engine, it will, when quantization is on, fix your mistakes, but not limit you creativity. This is really fun to demo, people can’t believe what you’re doing. Listen at 2 min into the track you will really hear some rearranging, and at 4 min a fun reloop trick, remember its all live.

3.reflextimestretch.mp3
Here is just a test of our timestrecth, just messing with it to show what it can do. (PLEASE NOTE: 3 minutes into this time stretch its actually “standing still” playing a “zero” tempo when coming back from reverse. Time stretch can do +-400%)
