How I spent my weekend at Summer Camp....LOL

OK...maybe it was not at Summer Camp....

However, as some of you know, I often do some work for our other moderator here at DJSO, Mike Fernino of Music In Motion. Well, Mike booked me at two separate weddings in Connecticut for Friday and Saturday for his company. He generously opened his home for me to stay overnight, instead of making me get a hotel or drive back to Boston.

Mike is living proof that anyone can make money as a mobile DJ full-time. His house and yard are HUGE, complete with in ground pool and a yard that could be a mini driving range! Mike admits that it has taken him a long time to get this far, and the proof is there. I just wished I had taken some pictures to show everyone here.

And after a long night of loading and unloading, being interactive and entertaining, it was refreshing to chill out with some "refreshments" in the HOT TUB.

I also found out why he books so much. From the outside, the Music In Motion office may not look like much, especially because it shares space with an auto body shop. But when you walk in...the place screams excitement. Pictures everywhere, and an office setting that can be listed next to the word "Professional".

I must say it was a great weekend, and a great way to put my career in perspective.

Thanks to Mike and his wife Sherri for being terrific hosts! I look forward to my next venture for Connecticut for the weekend.

P.S.: I have spent most of my day looking for a hot tub for the condo.....lol

Don't forget Mike is successful because he has a talented brother (Steve) who basically contributes to the success of the organization even though he'd make more $$$ working his own company.

Remember it was Steve who first went online (back in 1998 I believe), and who founded the "Idea Sharing"

Just wanted to give credit where 1/2 of the credit is due!

Actually Matt....

Mike was the original founder of the Idea Sharing Seminars. Idea Sharing started as a training tool for the Music In Motion employees. As Idea Sharing progressed, outside companies were invited to participate, until Idea Sharing 3, when it was promoted and opened to the DJ Community at large. Steve and Sal Fusco ran it for a bit until Idea Sharing 5, when Mike and I picked up where they left off.

Steve and Sal helped contribute to the success of the Idea Sharing concept. Their efforts and contributions are always welcomed and appreciated.

Just want to get the facts straight...

Just for the record...........
Steve has been my biggest inspiration since the death of my father. He has been there to hold me together when I didn't think I could go on.
He is a constant influence in my business and makes me work harder at being the best at what I do. His talent, hard work and effort make my company that much better than it would be without him! He pushes me to the next level.
It is proof that 2 brothers can actually work together and make $ without killing each other,
although there was that time in...............LOL
