DJ Idea Sharing 5 Lineup and Details!

Dear Friends and fellow DJs,

As we get closer to DJ Idea Sharing 5 on March 26 @ DJ World MA, I have an update as to our progress. The event is shaping up and coming together fast!

This one will be the " Mother " of all DJ get-togethers! Sorry.

Anyway, we are thrilled to officially announce my friend Roxanna Green from Florida is going to fly up to attend and participate in this event!

Thankyou to Dan from Sure Glow, who is sponsoring her trip here! Dan will also be a major sponsor of this event along with DJ World!

Roxanna is a very well know DJ/interactive entertainer/professional business person who has taken the DJ community by storm with her enthusiasm and unequaled passion for the industry! She will be on a panel for DJ Idea Sharing 5.

If you have never met or heard her speak, believe me it is worth the drive to Idea Sharing from wherever you are in the region.

Scott from WeDJ.com will be our Keynote speaker with a fabulous presentation on the internet and the huge advertising possibilities that exist. Scott is also flying out for this event, so as you can see, it is a major event in the making!

Jeff Wade, perhaps one of the most knowledgeable technical DJs in the country will do a live Question and answer session called, " Talking Tech with Jeff Wade! "

This guy will BLOW you away! Bring your tech questions for Jeff.
DJ World is our very distinguished host and I thank them for the
accommodations for this event. I can't think of a better place to hold an

DJ World will have specials during the networking hour from 5:30pm - 6:30pm, and I don't know yet what, but they will have great deals for those who attend DJ Idea Sharing 5!

OK, are you sitting down? It gets even better!!!

My very good friend, Len Caseria from Len's Photography from Trumbull CT, will be setting up a photo shoot. Full background. Here's the deal.

You need a new professional picture of yourself or DJ staff for marketing your service?

Along with your normal attire, bring your tux and/or DJ outfit to Idea Sharing and take a picture! Len will charge a small fee for this service. You will get a get professional promo shot of yourself or DJ staff. Len should have them ready a short time after the event.

Also, by overwhelming request..........
Video man Tom Pace will be on hand to video the entire event. Copies of the event will be sold privately through Tom Pace, for a nominal charge after the event.

All sales are between Tom and the DJs. Idea Sharing wants 0 from the
proceeds!

We remain a not for profit event!

The video association WEVA will be on hand to talk about working in
cooperation with DJs and how to better communicate for the benefit of your clients.

Thank you to Rob Peters for getting that one together.

Rob will be doing a team building seminar, and I will be hosting " Great
Wedding Routines." I am still looking for 2-3 DJs that want to share a great wedding bit they do at their wedding events each week. Real routines and not just made up for a DJ competition.

Finally, Roxanna and I are in the process of getting a very large hotel suite for the first ever, " DJ Idea Sharing After Hours ALL NIGHT Fest! "

That's right, Idea Sharing just never is long enough, so for those who don't want to drive home after the event and plan to stay over, here is a place to stay and continue the networking!

For those who are travelling a far distance to attend Idea Sharing 5, we have set up a room block of 10 rooms at a nearby hotel.

Anyone interested in staying over can make reservations under the "Idea Sharing 5 Group" at the Quality Inn in Somerset, MA. Their # is 508.678.4545. The rate for the night will be $64. You will need a major credit card to hold the room.

Here's an update:

We currently have 82 people pre-registered to attend this event. On behalf of mike Fernino and myself, we are truly pleased at the interest this event has received.

If you have not informed us of your intent to join us on Wednesday, what are you waiting for ?

With very limited space left, reservations are HIGHLY recommended. Chances are great that if you do not reserve your space and show up on Wednesday night, you probably will be turned away.
