Scott has been nothing but fantastic to me and my business has quadrupled, to the point where I have had to farm out some of my leads. I personally don't see it appropriate to advertise on message boards. No mud slinging here...just facts pertaining to me.
1. WEDJ has increased my business to the point where I can't fill all the leads now because my calendar is full.
2. Scott has been very gracious and fair and really cares alot about his clients.
3. Gigbuilder works great and my customers Love the Realtime features
4. Scott has given me invaluable information pertaining to increasing my search engine rankings. AND...depending on the search string I frequently rank higher than all the DJ sites out there (in my region).
5. In any search string I have ever tested using Webposition Gold, I have never once seen djwebmin or djintelligence show up.
6. I have clicked on Unsubscribe from djintelligence three times and still get their sales emails (VERY FRUSTRATING)
7. It's a big world and we can all play in the same sandbox...all that matters is that each dj is happy with whatever they choose! If not...switch!

Point of clarification:

DJ Intelligence is not a lead generation service so therefore we are not trying to come up in the search results (as we shouldn't be). We are an application service provider for disc jockeys and we generate our DJ traffic via paid advertisements on the industry's leading DJ websites, publications, tradeshows, sponsorships, and more.

I have used both. I think Gigbuilder has more capabilities than djwebmin and is much more powerful and used by some of the larger national DJ companies. Gigbuilder is more sophisticated and has a seamless offline feature that uses lotus notes, used in Wall Street firms.

DJwebmin has simplicity; Gigbuilder has more bells and whistles, including a ledger and the ability to keep track of expenses related to jobs. If you want a really professional program and are willing to take the time to give it a test drive and learn how to get the most of it, I would go with gigbuilder.

DJWebmin has had issues with losing data and in my experience the customer service is not up to par. I like what I can do with the graphics using djintelligence for quote generator, but gigbuilder is in my opinion a better and more powerful product. If I was starting out fresh and needed to get started very quickly, I would use gigbuilder and gradually integrate the features as I became comfortable. DJWebmin is quick out of the box with a faster learning curve, but gigbuilder is in another class when it comes to the possibilities. It’s like comparing Toyota to a Ferrari. You may drive the Toyota with automatic transmission off the floor without a problem, but you may have to learn how to use a stick shift for the Ferrari. DJWebmin is a prop plane and gigbuilder is a jet.

These are my thoughts from experience. Take it for what its worth. The bottom line is your customers have to be comfortable with the software, otherwise it doesn’t matter how you feel about it. If you keep it simple, your customers will appreciate gigbuilder and on the admin side, you will really appreciate the dynamics and automation that can be implemented for emails, finance, etc. Your accountant will love you.
