Do I still have any respect for Jim Casey....nope not now. He has shown by the way he made the sale announcement and his post on WeDJ that he is not worthy of respect as a business person.

He has basically bailed out on his membership and his friends too.

btw....I previously posted this....then Jim saw it and deleted it...phoned me...we talked....he said okay to repost once he understood my reasoning for the post. He understands why I posted this...now it is your turn.

Come on guys. Grow up here. This board can be a useful tool if we use it right. The foul language is not called for. Whether you like Jim or not. He sold this board. So at least be respectful to the new owner by not posting this useless stuff.

Gee fellow DJ associates....why is it necessary to "bash" Jim for doing whatever he chooses to do with DJSO. When it becomes no longer "fun" or "entertaining" or simply JUST TOO MUCH WORK, who are we to dictate otherwise. I for one am saddened that Jim has let go of his business, but I would imagine the NEW owner(s) will be on line shortly to "quell" all rumors and myths that have arisen.

Again, good luck Jim and I hope your DJ service once again brings you those "big" bucks. I'm beginning to think that the economy has begun to take a toll on the "average" bride and groom wedding reception. I may be wrong, but in my area the fees have bottomed out. Not to "bottom feeder" prices, but not the high end either.

Glen, What was the on again off again thing for Jim near the end? Something going on I missed or? I rcvd a couple VM's he wanted to know if I was interested in the site. Months earlier I was pitching the idea of cross promo between FDJA and the other forums but had no takers, then at the last minute Bang! It was sold and he's gone.

The new forum looks really sharp I think Bill (it is Bill right?), has done a nice job modernizing. The only thing I truly miss is the standard forum links at the mid/upper left like the other forums have... I jump around between lots of forums and it always takes me a while to figure out how to navigate this one.

Anyway, I hope to see both halves of the equation do well. Moderator at WeDJ huh? I've never even seen Scott's forum. Anyone have a password I can borrow

I don' think he bailed really...he just wanted to move on.

He sold the site and that is that. I am just hoping I can build it into something that is popular, able to help the disc jockey world and allow people to have fun as well.

We are still building a bunch of new things and it has been slow so far...but it is moving forward. We hope to get things finished up so we can get the site more active and rocking.
