What types of "outside the box" marketing/advertising/promotion ideas have you used to promote your business?

Have you ever sponsored a softball team, dropped off donuts at the local catering facility, or done anything else that was unique to the industry?

I guess i'll leave a reply. I sponsor a 3-4th grade basketball team, participate on a float in the local 4th of July Parade and DJ for Walmarts yearly BBQ and fundraiser. Are these off the wall enough?
