If a company is bad, should you tell your prospects?

OK, we've all seen the stuff from the Rip Off Report, BBB, and complaints.com about Pinnacle, Let's Dance, and A Solid Gold Sound.

These are nationwide and they impact us all. Should they be singled out in client interviews or should you just point your prospects to the BBB, Rip Off Report, and complaints.com sites?

My personal opinion, single them out. Bring copies of the reports. Let your prospects know before they are bitten. But, that's just me.

If I knew a compay had serious issues with reports on Rip Off Report, BBB, and complaints.com I would not tell a client.... What I would di is advice a prospect to do a search via Rip Off Report, BBB, and complaints.com and verify "MY" company has no issues as a referrence. I would add they may want to check any company they are considering in the same manner.

Keep the focus on my company - I would bet they will check out others as well and discover hidden issues without my making ANy direct referrences.

If I am asked outright about a company, I will give my honest opinion.

I value ither people's honesty and I expect that they would want the same.

I try not be be very negative, buit I will point out reports that are out in the public's view.

If I lose business, it's because I was honest and I can live with that.
