Default Slogans

So i'm having djprinter.com (imagesplus) make my business cards. i paid kinko's 70 bucks and i just lost it. i hate them, they are going to be my "wedding cards". for the 1 i do every 2 years.

so for my new cards i am having to make all these decisions..not just for my cards, but business.

for example my slogan.
all of a sudden i had a thought, and i know it should be my slogan

business name: Brody's Xtreme Sounds
slogan: EITHER Xperience the Xtreme OR The Xtreme Xperience everyone seems to like the latter better

i also have other catchy statements, but that right there will be on cards, signs, etc.

i have other sayings like "xtreme entertainment for any occasion" "xtensive music library (maybe with the x...maybe normal)
and what the guy at the card place said was "let us take your next event to the xtreme"

soo.... this was pretty much all pointless except to let me rant some and for your opinion. which slogan, the xtreme xperience or xperience the xtreme

thanks and sorry
brody
DJ XTREME<- there's another.

Two opinions:

One: Please spell "Extreme" correctly on your correspondence. Your first impression is a lasting one and you won't be fifteen years of age down the road when you're trying to impress wedding clients. You may wish to try the thesaurus option in your document program to see if there are similar words that "everyone else" isn't using.

Two: Click here and let me know what you think.

as for that
i went from Brody's DJ Service to Brody's Xtreme Sounds

I did this because i felt the name was more appealing towards a broader range of people.

I understand that if i continue this business for a while, i will most likely be going through a name change (i have experienced that already...and even at my stage of the game, it is NOT easy at all. this name change has cost me a lot of money.)
i will cross that bridge when i come to it, because i feel that it's better to have a slighlty more focused marketing-target agegroup then try to please everyone COMPLETELY, and possibly receive less business. I have done weddings with this name, and i have done elementary school dances with it.
As for the spelling...it wasn't a mistake (i'm a 4.0 student for your information, haha!)
Again, i feel it is more appealing, and that spelling looks better on logos and is more attractive to the eye.

Plus, is doesn't affect anything really...on all signs and marketing tools it is spelled that way...so what's the difference? it IS pronounced the same.

you didn't even answer my opinion question :-

I like the xtreme xperience

I misspelled both words on purpose

I will disagree with Wolfie about the need to spell xtreme correctly. This generation is trying to be on the edge and at 15, I get the feeling this may be a good name for Brody.

Combine with a cool logo and I think he could do well in the school market

I like Xperience The Xtreme, but the other is cool as well. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

I also disagree with Wolfie, use the X, it looks better. I think most people are used to spelling nuances for names and slogans - it's the American way.

I use RockIt, not Rocket for the name of one of my products, even though I show a picture of a rocket as a logo. Serves a dual purpose.

He will grow older with his generation, so they will appreciate it along the way I think.

Even MS named their game XBox...

As a Marketing Moderator and Major, I will agree with keeping the "X". This gives your business personality. Your not just another DJ.

Stick with it and push it so that people remember it!

thank you very much! fewf! that makes me feel better! i felt as thought for my logo, cards, etc, i had maade the wrong decision! thank you for supporting me!
i realyl appreiciate it!

and for "xperience the xtreme" does that sound like a command, like i'm begging for businss? that is the only thing i'm afraid of...if not, i would choose that slogan. it's catchier i think, and less words

if you'd like to see my logo, check out the not-up-yet brodysxtremesounds.com that "guy" is not normally in my logo, and the color scheme is usually a red glow around "xtreme"
