Had it not been for signing a Wednesday Wedding (Tomorrow), this would have been my worst summer month since 1997 when I had just started as a mobile.
I have only three weddings...
Tomorrow, July 9th and 16th. Then NOTHING until August 6th. Anyone else in this boat?

3 this past weekend....
3 this weekend
2 on the weekend of the 16th
4 on the weekend of the 23rd
and 3 on the weekend of the 30th....

I have 1 this month....total
3 in the first 2 weeks of August (5th, 6th, 13th)....and then I am off until October 1st and then a long long looooong break....until July 2006.

Pretty much, Mike and I have been doing 4 per weekend and will continue to do so through July until August hits. In August we have 3 per week.

Slow here for us... 2 more gigs this month, only 2 in August, September it picks up and October is going to be somewhat hectic. November however, is wide open... [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

3 last weekend. 3 this weekend, 4 next weekend, 3 the weekend of the 30th, about 2 a week avg for the rest of the year. Jim I told you that need to network more even if it only means one gig a month more, and you don't like doing doubles, that is the only way I can do 3-4 a weekend. I have a double on a Friday in Aug and yes they are both Weddings, go figure

August is looking good too. September is ok and November is wide open.

YIKES!!!!
Doubles...OMG...I admit I don't get how ypu guys do it. It amazes me.
Yes, the networking is in need of an upgrade, but evenings are very difficult right now.
Good to see others doing well.
BTW, today;s wedding was a surprising success. Dancel floor was packed for the afternoon (unusual in a Saturday afternoon, but a Wednesday???)

July is pretty slow. I have only 5 right now, including a Thursday (14th). Admittedly, I could have booked the 30th and 31st but held them aside for my brother's wedding. Why do relatives always get married on weekends? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

:cyclop Geez, I don't feel so bad, I don't have diddly squat for shows this month, just every wednesday and thursday, and every other saturday for now, I thought July would be crazy for bookings. I started this business last year in June, and last July I was fully booked, I was starting to think I sucked lol
