It sucks to be me this summer. One low paying community event on the 4th- that is it for July. Two weddings in August, and Sept & the fall is starting to fill up, but lots of Mac & Cheese this month. lol

I did have a lead on a last minute (albeit low paying) wedding for next Saturday- their $250 DJ bailed. They called me yesterday (Friday 8th) cancelling our meeting, saying she found AFOAF who will do it.

Everyone thought I was crazy when I predicted a slow summer down here after 4 hurricanes hit Fla last summer (I type this as my home windows are boarded up and I hunker down waiting for hurricane Dennis)

Jim: Biz as usual for July, 2005. 8 weddings, 1 corporate picnic, 2 class reunions (that stat is really weird for July however the trend away from November continues), and 1 anniversary.

More important than the numbers of gigs is the income derived from those gigs and how monthly mini-targets effect the major target, annual income.

Good for you, stay busy.

5 this month, though I passed one over to a friend.

Next month only got 3 at end, as I took the month off to get some jobs done at my mums, like rebuilding her garage.

Also just got 3 more new lights today,, valued at £1818.00 GBP.

Yup, thats about $3000 USD for 3 lights.. good lights though, I now own 5 of these

:tup You know what's weird, one minute your really slow, and then WHAM, the bookings hit you like a rock. Starting tomorrow, wednesday, I have July booked up for every wednesday, thursday, friday, and Saturday, for the rest of this month, and they aren't all for the same place. Crazy how a little whining can do miracles lol good luck you guys, hope your luck is as good as mine has been :clap
