Has anybody implemented online affilates to party supply companies? (such as Sure Glow or Sherman Specialty)

I've signed up & set up one through Direct Novelty (sure glow). I did notice that Sherman was offering the same deal (20%), and they have a much larger product offering.

I still prefer Sure glow for the glow & blinky stuff, but there's just so much more in Sherman.

(I know Sure Glow is a sponsor of DJSO -don't mean any disrespect!)

Party stores generally do not generate much in sales...

But...

Direct Novelty will be incorporated into the WeDJ listings really soon, Sherman will not

And...

Direct Novelty will be expanding very shortly to include a lot more wedding based items.

I operated PartyPoints.com, a MakesParties (Sherman) affiliate, and received over $100,000 commission from 2001 to 2003. However, my net profit was just over $20,000 since it cost about $80,000 to generate over 1,000,000 hits over that period.

Overall, though, I did generate over $500,000 in revenue for Sherman / MakesParties before selling the PartyPoints.com domain name for $4,000 at the end of 2004.
