Lots of incredible things coming together for this BIG event.

blasts over the next 2 weeks.

Nate McKenzie is currently working on the final arrangements for the
hotel discount and the possible after party. We should have that
information available shortly. Once again, our thanks go out to Nate for
the tremendous effort that he and his team at Sam Ash of New Haven are
putting forth on DJ Idea Sharing 9. We have never had a staff and
General Manager so involved with a DJ Idea Sharing event. As a result,
this will be the biggest and best yet!
Also, if you would like to start officially R.S.V.Ping for DJ Idea
Sharing 9, you can do so now by responding to this email and including
your name, company name, contact info (email, telephone, etc) and
mailing address (for future snail mail DJ Idea Sharing announcements!)
We will also be taking R.S.V.Ps via telephone shortly. That will be
announced in the next email. If you are thinking of attending, Please
RSVP, so that we have an advanced count for providing food, beverages,
and seating. Thank you!

Announcement #1: The Pre-DJ Idea Sharing Networking Luncheon sponsored
by DJ Source Online (

1:30-3:00pm.
DJ Source Online has reserved a private room for a pre-show Networking
Luncheon (albeit a late lunch) from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Bennigan's on
Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, CT. Please RSVP to Jim Casey, administrator of

attending.
Everyone is welcome. There is no admission fee, just order straight off

Announcement #2: Nicholas Pappagallo - Digital DJ will be providing
Digital DJ systems for viewing and questions!
In addition to Charles E. Snyder's "So you wanna go digital?" seminar,
DJ Idea Sharing is proud to announce that we will have some actual
Digital DJ systems in house courtesy of Nicholas Pappagallo, owner of
Surround Sound Entertainment LLC of New Jersey. Nick is a member of the
NJDJA and has been DJing for 12 years in NJ and the surrounding areas.
After converting from records to cds, he has now embraced Digital DJing
and is currently upgrading all of his systems to include Video & Karaoke
capabilities. He will have 3 different systems for attendees to view,
test, and ask questions about. He will be able to field all questions on
how to upgrade from your existing configuration to a digital system. The
3 displays will be Laptop, Mini System, and Larger mobile or club

representative for PCDJ, DJRak, & Audiotrak Soundcards…although no stock
will be there that evening he will also be able to answer questions

Announcement #3: Matt Peterson's topic is officially being announced!
"DJ Networking...What's Hot and What's Not"
For those of you that do not know Matt, he is the owner of Peterson
Productions Disc Jockeys in the Northampton, Massachusetts area. He is
also the Music Coordinator for the KIX 97.9 Country Star Karaoke Contest
and a long time attendee of DJ Idea Sharing! In fact, Matt recently
played an important roll at the recent DJ Idea Sharing seminar at the
Mobile Beat DJ Show in Vegas a few months back, filling in for your's
truly. (I hear you did an awesome job, Matt! Thanks Again!!!)
Matt is also a Regional Network Leader for the National Association of
Mobile Entertainers (NAME -
www.djkj.com) and has been recently
appointed Director of the Professional Disc Jockeys of New England
(PDJNE -
www.pdjne.com)
Matt is currently putting together a networking group of DJs in the
Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont area, so we figured what
better man to talk about networking than him! Join Matt as he sets forth
in a lively discussion of what's hot and what's not in terms of
networking amongst Disc Jockeys. Explore some of the benefits and
opportunities that can be acquired from enhancing your networking skills!
