Has anyone here had any dealing with them?

I have heard of many problems with them in the past, but a bride is really trying to get the message out:

I paid in full $1295 for a dj / videography package and this company no-showed on my wedding day. They won't refund my money or return any of my phonecalls or emails.
They have done this to another bride as recently as June 4th 2005 in Tennessee. They will do it again if we don't stop them! They also scam other dj's into taking last minute jobs and then the dj is not paid.

I am asking you all in the dj community to get the word out about this company.

If you or anyone that you know of has been scammed by this company. Please have them contact me at this email address or on my cell phone number below. I am trying to get a list compiled of all the other victims out there! These scammers are a nationwide threat. So far, I have other victims' names from Georgia, Tennesse, Texas, New York, Maryland, and West Virginia! Some of these victims are not only the dj, but their clients as well!

My goal is to make every dj in the nation aware of these criminals. Please help me stop them from doing this to another family on the most important days of their lives!!

I can't pull the address up on mapquest, (which is unusual because mapquest can even find my place). My map, though it's older has no record of Lantana Ct but it has Lantana TR (Trail or Terrace) that is in the Fairfax County zip code of 22079
as opposed to the one given. The zip code given puts this place in the Fair Oaks area (22033) of Fairfax adjacent to Reston and Chantilly. The 22079 zip code puts it in the Mason Neck area which is also known as Lorton and at opposite ends of this jurisdiction.
I have heard of them before because they have been discussed on other boards as well. They used to send out emails like they were a lead generating service years ago and they were oppressive, they had so many rules and regulations that DJs with any sense would stay away from them. Many of the concerns I had heard is that the DJs wanted to know if they were going to be paid?
I personally have never dealt with them and they are sure to come up as a topic of discussion at the DJMMC Conference in July for the Regional DJs in the Washington Metropolitan area. We have lots of great talent here and we know it's people like this who hurt the industry , especially in our area.

I typed in Discjockey and got 2 responses. Read the one about the noshow. Evedently the DJ also made 140 CD copies for the guests of the tunes he was to play.

It's one thing for a bride or groom to be left at the alter. But there are
several brides who say a national DJ and video company, with an office in
Liberty, has left them at the alter. DJ's and Videographers they hired
didn't show up.

Said Customer Denise Caldon of Macon, Georgia of her daughter's wedding,
"Literally, five minutes before the wedding, we had relatives running out to
their parked cars, getting CD's from their cars so we had music for her to
walk down the aisle."

Denise Caldon says the DJ she hired from Let's Dance Productions didn't show
up for her daughter's wedding. Same thing happened at Aimee Webster's
wedding in Texas.

Said Webster, "I just became a mess. I'm trying to get ready to marry the
man I love and they're throwing this at me, this unnecessary stress."

The Better Business Bureau says it has heard from six customers who say DJ's
and videographers from Let's Dance Productions did not show up.

Said Kathy Barrett, President of the Better Business Bureau, "So if they did
not receive that service or product they can't fix that, there's no fix to
going back now and video taping the wedding after it's taken place."

There are complaints on complaints.com and rip-off report.com saying the
same thing. They're customers like Denise Caldon, who say their big events
didn't turn out as planned.

Said Caldon, "After working on this wedding for a year and a half, I was
physically sick."

We spoke with David Thomas of Let's Dance Productions, also known as
Pinnacle Entertainment. He blames inclement weather from preventing his crew
from flying to Webster's wedding. He says he has offered a refund to Denise
Caldon.

These cases have been reported to law enforcement.
