Tuesdaay November 9th is the day for Idea Sharing 8 at ATC Audio in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Word on the street is that this is shaping up to be a big event. We may have a contingent of DJs from as far away as New Jersey.

So, we are asking for your help!

What would you like to see at this Idea Sharing. Remember, the format calls for about 3-4 hours of seminars, demonstartions, and information aling with Networking breaks. It is a one night event.

Please send your ides along to rpeters35@yahoo.com or to mike@musicinmotiondjent.com

How about having Each DJ bring an item of their gear with them... this way every one can have a look at someone eles gear, and get an idea as to what other DJs are using and for what purpose.

Obviously it helps if the item is a non-standard item.. something they believe is unique.

Interesting idea Headline, however, with so many people attending I don't see where we would have all the room for all that gear!

But the unique and different is always welcome!

If all goes well, though, I may have some new gear to demo that is pretty cool.
Stay Tuned.

OK here's the latest with Idea Sharing 8 on Tuesday November 9th in Springfiend:

* We're pleased to announce that Mike Walter of Elite Entertainment will be our keynote speaker. Mike has been in the business for over 20 years, and as a featured speaker brings a great deal of perspective about our industry to this event.

* Dick Dean will also be there with a entertainerDJ in the Boston area. Anyone who has seen Dick in Atlantic City knows that this seminar is a lot of fun.

* I will also be presenting my seminar about "Taking The Plunge: Transitioning from Part Time DJ to Full Time Entertainer". This presentation was originally scheduled for IS 7 and was bumped due to time. This topic was well attended at the Mobile Beat Orlando Conference.

And that's just the beginning...

YOU can be involved....If you have an idea for a topic, or a game or interactive you would like to share...become a part of Idea Sharing 8. Email met at RPeters35@yahoo.com, or Mike Fernino at ferninodj1@aol.com with your ideas. We will contact you for more information. Do it today...we're almost 30 days away!

Living just west of Milwaukee, I can't promise attending, but I would love to be there.

My thought for a topic is this...

Since we're just before Holiday Party season. Learning games is great, but my fear is always how to get people to participate.

A great upsell could be leis or glow-necklaces to break the group into teams, but what if they will not willingly come out for a game?

"We need 5 people for each team" and you have to fight to get a few.

I would love to know that no matter what, these great games are going to be a huge success because I could always get the guests to participate.

Just some thoughts...

Scott
