TV Station Website Advertising

Hey everyone...
The TV station that I worked for until just before 9/11 called me yesterday and they are getting ready to launch a Wedding Guide. They say they will be advertising this during the network prime-time shows.

A linked listing is offered at $500 per year. My question is, have any of you advertised on a similar level?

Was it a waste of time and money?

Why would you advertise to "locals" ?

your primary market is out-of-state couples willing to pay $1k or more for a DJ service.

Jim, this would give you the opportunity to advertise "as seen on TV." If you think that is a selling point, that is.

For $500 I'd go for it...

Just think, for each bride that doesn't claim her $500 for unplayed tracks covers your TV Ad fee. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img]
