First, Thank You Mobile Beat for sending free issues to Idea Sharing 7 for the attendees, I’ve not read an issue for sometime and I see great improvements and this has no reflection on your magazine but rather on a manufactures promo piece.

I was reading the issue and on page 36 noticed a promotional piece given by Gemini to promote its MP-3000X unit. The unit features one tray ejected and sitting in the tray is a “DJ TOOLS” MP3 cdrom. I was not in Las Vegas for the last DJ convention, however, it was reported the RIAA came down hard on a few individuals who were selling these units in a trade show booth and were ordered to stop selling and promoting them under penalty of court action. Is it now permited to sell and promote the DJ Tools and/or is Gemini distributing these?
