William Hung is a TOP 10 Artist

We missed this a week ago but...

William Hung Hits Charts 4 Times
LOS ANGELES-April 6, 2004 — Not being able to sing or dance isn't stopping William Hung from having more songs on the music charts than Britney Spears.

Hung's version of "She Bangs" is one of four songs he has on "Billboard's" Hot Digital Tracks chart.

She Bangs opens at number-eight. His version of "I Believe I Can Fly" charts at number 28, "Rocket Man" is number 31 and "Free" is number 46.

Fortunately RPM, TMC, Promo, ERG don't use that chart for the basis of determining which trax to issue for CD subscription services.

Until the song charts on the Top 30 of the Hot 100, don't expect to see it on a Prime Cuts disc anytime soon!

And I just sent an email to my contact at RPM (Top Hits USA) asking them nicely NOT to issue Hung on a T-disc!

I'm sorry, but his music (if you can call it that) is just not wedding reception material in my opinion!

I was watching the Calgary vs. Detroit hockey game today and guess who I heard playing during the game?? Yep you got it. William Hung and his big "hit" She Bangs....
