I like
Network Solutions, and register my domains through them. I feel more comfortable with the BIG company than some of the two-bit companies that offer much lower registration prices (in fact, I've had some serious problems with them in the past, which is why I switched back).
However, needless to say, NS has only served to re-emphasize its higher pricing by its latest offer. Yes, you too can register your domain name for 100 years at just $9.99 per year! That's still higher than some of their competitor's one-year prices, and if I'm not dead in 100 years, I'd probably rather be. Besides, who knows if domain names (never mind NS) will even be around in 100 years?
Their 9-year price is $14.99 per year. Somehow, I'd think I'd rather spend $134.91 for 9 years than $999 for 100 years. What do you think??
Hey, at least I wouldn't have to worry about inflation over the next 100 years!
