I am a single operator exclusively. Last time I booked through and agent was in 1999.

How about you?

I am turning multi this year.

I am currently a single op. Now with the excess of work, I am training several people so I can begin to expand.

I'm a single operator and enjoy the flexibility of choosing my assignments.

Also, as a singel operator the opportunity to network with others who share the same desires and professionalism is rewarding. Would not want my name to be tarnished by something that I did not do or appeared to have authorized.

Just thought you all would be interested in my philosophy.

Matt...
Do you have an Entertainment Booking license? If not, you may need to have one.

Single op, I help out an agency when they call but they don't like my prices.
They want to pay dirt but the bank doesn't accept dirt........
I usually am booked when they call, so it is not very often that I work for them.

Multi-op if you consider myself and Diana going to our own seperate gigs. I have no outside "employees" although I network with other very good jocks in our area to handle dates I am already booked up on. And they refer to us when they're full.
Works out very well.

Technically, if you are going out seperately, you are considered a multi-op. But keeping it in the family does have it's advantages.
