Just watched a Jeanne Moos story on CNN about something called "movieoke".
This from the website of the club that offers this:
http://www.twoboots.com/theden/
"Announcing the new incarnation of karaoke where you can act out your favorite scenes from your favorite movies with a little help from your friends and subtitles. Complete with stage, large screen dvd projection, beer and wine bar, and a complete collection of movies to choose from, courtesy of Two Boots Video. Finally, a karaoke offspring for those who can't sing! Created and hosted by Anastasia Fite."
My first question is whether they have even a legal right to use the movie clips in a public performance. My guess is no, but it's still an interesting thought.
