I wanted to send my respect to a fellow DJ who died in Ft. Lauderdale a few days ago.

He was not feeling well prior his set, went into the Blue Martini nightclub office to rest and never made it back to the booth. The medical examiner reported he died of complications of walking pneumonia…It’s said he thought he just had a cold or bronchitis which was causing his coughing.

My heart goes out to his family & friends at this time.

Bad news, it's bad when in todays time people can still die from avoidable illnesses.

My aunt who died in 98 did so through pneumonia, and no one knew she had it.

Walking Pneumonia???

OMG...Jam we are sorry to hear. I battled two sever cases of brinchitis about 4 years ago that lasted about six months combined. To make matters worse, I was doing a lot of bar work back then when smoking was allowed.

I just re-read my post and I see I posted Blue...

Tim was the DJ at the Martini Bar in fort Lauderdale.... Not the Blue Martini sorry about that...
