Default "my party store"

how many of you guys have a " .makeparties.com" link on your site?

i just called them, and found it was free
it works like this:
i pay nothing
i put a link on my site
and when customers want to buy party items (glow, novelty, etc) they simply click on "go to my party store" on my website. it is a store selling all these things.
if they buy something, i get 20% commission.

sounds good, right?

BUT, i just had a job requestion 100 glow bracelts, i got them , and charged them 40 while they cost me llike 15-18. this is a lot betterthan 20%, but in a way it was a hassle.

what shall i do? have them buy favors through me? or if they want things, tell them to visit my party store?

Well is all depends on what you want more. It seems you can make more money getting them yourself for little hassle. There are different ways you can aproach this. Now I know 20% is not that much overhead, but is it really that much of a hassle. If you get them for them you can charge them a small finders fee besides the mark up. Of course you want to explain to them that your will find them the best price for the fee. If you have great demand for them talk to a couple of people to see if you can work out a deal with them. If the supply is great enough you should have no problem getting them down. If its a once in awhile thing then your better off marking them up and forgetting the 20%. Maybe instead of putting the party store link on there, add something offering glow products for all events avalible. See if it generate more business in the market. If it doesn't there is no hassle for you. If it does and you get swaped with demand then you can always add the link.

Just my opinion
