The Maine Disc Jockey Network was honored that Rob Peters of NAME and Scott Rosenberg of WeDJ flew to Maine to give us a great series of semionars.

Rob, despite being on-call for what was supposed to be a significant snowstorm (he's a plow truck driver for Massachussetts), drove the 3-4 hours to Augusta to be there with us and deliver a strong keynote address. Later, he helped us with a great marketing seminar.

However...

Scott had a really rough time getting to Maine

He left for the Peoria Airport at 5:30am to fly Chicago, then to Boston and drive to Augusta, Maine for our Maine Disc Jockey Network Mini-Convention.

Well, he had one flight cancel due to a plane dying (yes, dying on the ground thank god!). The airline wouldn'e compensate him for his time so he was able to switch to another airline that flew him directly to Portland (105 miles closer)

That flight was delayed due to a missing pin (what kind of planes do they have in Chicago...LOL) He was origianlly scheduled to land at approx. 4pm. He arrived I think close to 6

He got to Portland only to find out his luggage was missing.

So he checked into his hotel so they would have a place to send the luggage and Scott drove to Augusta (about 55 miles). Well, at 7:00 I started getting worried not knowing that any of the previous had happened so I called my home and sure enough I heard a message from him saying he was in Augusta. I was able to reach his cell and found he had gone the opposite direction of the hotel we had our conference at, but not too far away.

So we were able to finally get him there (coatless in Maine).

His first Maine experience, a Mexican restaurant!

His Gigbuilder and Web seminars were as always fabulous and insightful!

My hats off to him for both Scott's and Rob's dedication to our industry with even as small of a group (7 companies) as we have!

Pictures soon!
