Default Any Bar/Bat Mitzvah news, tips, tricks?

Since this is the Wedding & Bar/Bat Mitvah Forum it would be nice to see some Mitzvah info once in a while. We don't do Mitzvah's, but I would love to hear stories, experiences, games etc from all of you who do...

Sherry...
Thanks to ROb, I will be doing my first Bar Mitzvah next May. I look forward to that challenge.

Mike Mahoney, (musicmaniac) does a couple of them per year. Maybe he could tall us some stories.

Hi Sherry...

I ust did one tonight and it went great. We did the usual games, but rather than just have all the kids compete on their own, I created five teams and kept score as we went for all the games. I worked out pretty good.

One of the first games I did was the shoe hunt. Had all the kids take off their shoes and put them in the center of the dance floor. I had my dancers mix them all up. I told them, the first team to have all their shoes on and sit down on the floor would be the winner. It went really well and from that point on, I had them.

One thing good about the team thing, is this; if you do anything that creates a mess, the team that just lost the game has a chance to get points if they clean up the dance floor. Works every time.
