Right on man.
If I was a developer and had to base my design on the sales of chisseling, cheap DJ's I'd be scared to death and rethinking my career. If a bank looked at that business plan they would laugh I'm afraid.
New technology costs money, and with the mental train of most I see, we will all be riding in the Metro flat tires and all.
Most of these dudes spent more on tuxedos than they have on software and that is holding back technology. Nobody is going to invent a fridge if everybody is just as happy with an icebox.
The whining kills me, most of the programs we know and use are 1/2 baked and disabled by their own design. Some lacking the ability to update and improve. Some basing sales on future ware that continues to be put off. What would you pay for a complete working package? $1500.00 is nothing for what that package delivers, video, karaoke, light controller or not.
