Good work Phil, I'm sure your top of the list of people to receive a new DAC-3 for review

As for "off the shelf components in an off the shelf case"..... What, you want us to spend 5 years making a 10K OODJ with our own proprietary mother boards and processors? You can equally call any brand name laptop one stuffed with "off the shelf components". You know better than that, they all get their stuff from the same place we do.

The difference is the design and testing. Each piece of hardware selected was bench tested to perform the best with PCDJ software. Over $300K in R & D went into your simple explanation of the OODJ. It's not a laptop, it designed for one thing only, flawless performance, guaranteed. The insides are held to the case at 14 different points and in some areas, tack welded.

But your right, most of the guys buying it are the Corvette vs. mini van kinda guys. It's a killer toy and don't tell me you wouldn't gladly take one if we wanted a "review". It's just a high end option.

Donny, the DAC-3 is shipping in June, we should be uploading manuals and more technical docs to our website within the next couple of weeks. Good question about the back up facility? Sometimes I wonder where our web/marketing people come up with this stuff! I'll look into it but I think it means the dual 100 gigs could be configured in a RAID.

lol Bryan, you nailed it!
