I use an SKB 10x8 Light weight console. The lower section has 2 SKB-VS1 pull-out drawer/shelves.

Here's the front view:



Here's a look from the top:



On the bottom of the SKB are two SONY WRR-802 UHF receivers.

On the first shelf above them is an external DVD/CDR/R/RW Firewire player (left) and an extermal 120gb 7200rpm external Firewire hard drive. The cable between the two is for a Firewire Compact Flash Card reader.



The top shelf has the computer port replicator shown without the computer attached. USB, power, mouse, audio, all remain connected in place.



Here's the computer port replicator connection on the bottom of the laptiop that replicates all the standard plugable inputs (power, USB, serial, parallel, modem, audio, etc):
