Yes those were the days. I know this isn't about the 10th reuions but yesterday I was in a welcome Santa Christmas parade that my fellow fighters and I have put on for many years now. I lead the parade just after the fire trucks go by. Every year I roller skate about 2 mile, my truck wired for sound and my wife in tow in a frosty suit. It's all way a big hit. The kids know me as the Roller Skating Firefighter DJ. I don't think my knees will last another parade. I am not walking to well today. :cuss Aging sucks! Roller skating will never be the same but it is my roots and a memory I'll always have. We use to play roller hockey also, in the parking lots at the stores because back then stores were closed on Sundays. :tup
