The reason an individual with talent will not become irrelevant is due to the recognition of their talent.
Individuals that acknowledge or recognize talent will seek it regardless, however, the individuals who place no value on talent will seek out services based on other criteria. You have attended my seminar on the 4-scales Jim, some customers shop based on value-of-cost and others on value-of-service – the later is more reflective of the service talent and it’s important to focus your marketing on the scale of client that will value what you have to offer..
A client that wants to have nephew or their home computer be their event entertainment was never my prospect from the beginning… If you look at the BIG picture you will realize a computer taking the majority of gigs away from us will not likely happen in our career lifetime…. Remember, the MAJORITY of the population in American does not own a personal computer yet – as techno phoebes we often forget how far ahead of the curve we actually are….
