As I mentioned in the DJ Idea Sharing Forum, I got up at midnight Friday morning and was 10 minutes behind the first person in line at Best Buy to purchase cheap computers etc
One of the things I bought was a 4 MP camera for only $149.99
Many of the photographers here in Maine that are digital are using 6-8 mp cameras for which they originally paid thousands of dollars.
As this technology gets less expensive and easier for the non-professionals to use (and may makie them think they too can shoot weddings), it got me to thinking...
The computer DJing revolution continues to make things easier for many DJs and of course we have many of the pioneers that have been doing this for close to a decade...
As this techology becomes more readily available to the general public and thus starts to make the average Joe think they can mix too, does this pose a danger to the livelihoods of the professionals such as us...
Will talented DJs become irrelevant?
